    TD5 horn button

    My TD5 has broken the horn button on the steering wheel.
    Anyone know where I can get a new one. I am in Adelaide.

    Is there a site where I can purchase Disco parts?. I did know of one from UK but can't find the details

    When I first bought my Disco, one of the horn buttons kept falling out. It was covered under the dealer's warranty, but they could not buy just the button from Landrover - you have to replace the entire centre piece, and unless you know what you're doing working around air bags - I'd be very careful.

    Gold City Land Rover (part of Southern's at the time) replaced the entire centre of my wheel - I still have the original button and spring, but the plastic tab on the button is broken.

    Yep. you have to replace both buttons/wiring etc...had mine done on Monday after living with a busted horn button for 2 years....about $160 I think...

    One of my plastic buttons kept popping out. I just very gently heated each of the 4 legs with an electric blow gun and splayed them about 0.5mm more and then gently filed them to make the wee hook on the end sharper. Coax it back in and --- all OK

    loopy111 I have used Karcraft in Sydney on a regularly basis Karcraft Australia Pty Ltd (02) 9737 9944. They post Express overnight right to your door so they may be an alternative to trs
