    ECU Upgrades in Perth

Does anyone know of a good workshop in Perth that does the ECU upgrades in Perth? Mine is the earlier model non-flashable type.
I know I can send it to TRS in Adelaide, but I would rather have it done with the car there to make sure it works and I may need to go to Perth shortly.
    Cheers

I have just got a flashable ECU thru Beechboro 4x4.
I bought the flashtuned Defender ECU via his Ebay site, the D2 went like a rocket but wasnt rite,no AC,no cruise,no temp gauge.
He reset the ECU to D2 but all I gained was low down traffic light drag race performance,no real huge improvement in Hwy or towing, wich was what I wanted.
He has upgraded to a better D2 tune(at my cost),AUSSIE POST ALLOWING I may be able to let you know how it goes.
Marc has been VERY good to deal with.
Toombie has a deal to give you a flash tune and trade your old ECU.I went this way so I still have a spare ECU and the Nannocom to instal if need be.

Ideally I would like to pick up a later ECU either flashed or get it flashed so it will allow me to hook up cruise as well, but this option may get a little expensive, so probablly better to get mine chipped if possible. The trouble I am having is that lots seem to do the flash but not many the chip. May even do a run to Adelaide to visit my parents and get TRS to do it then, if I do not get this job with ARG.
Will check out Tombies web site again, but last time I contacted him he was not ready to take on chipped upgrades.

I just recently had the ECU Chipped on my 99 D2 TD5 at TRS in Adelaide Cost around $500 fitted while I waited about half hour . Felt a slight ? increase in performance just drivng around . But noticed heaps of Torquey difference whilst towing my 17 ft caravan and especialy going up steep inclines. Cheers George
