Thread: maxi drive questions

was wondering if any body could help me with a few questions , I have just bought some front and rear diffs to fit into my rangie which allready have maxi drive lockers and axles fitted and 4.11 cps , do they still use the rover centres , are there any mods done to the pumpkins as i have bought some qt dif guards to fit allready and i read some where that you can swap around the air or vacum lines and engage the locker with 15 to 20 psi of air as aposed to engageing with manifold vacum as I allready have bouht an arb air comp .

Yep the locker will replace your old rover centre, the only mod to your diff housing to which i'm aware of is the block you have to weld to the axle/diff tube housing
I doubt you will have any troubles with fitting your diff guards, but i don't have a maxi locker so can't tell for shore
