    D2 TD5 Transmission service - Near Camberwell

    Hi all,

Looking to get my transmission serviced (it's slipping a bit, and has been leaking for a while, thanks to Range-Rov servicing there are loose nuts/bolts everywhere), any recommendations near Camberwell?

    Cheers,
    Graeme.

Last time I went to Ritters, I wanted them to plug in the diagnostic computer to tell me why the Three Amigo lights were on (not to fix it, just tell me the fault). Got charged $160 for 5 mins work, won't be going back there......

Which gears is it slipping in, or is it flaring between gear changes?

Given that there is no capacity to adjust anything, a service is unlikely to cure a slipping problem.

How many kms has it done?
When was the last service on the automatic?

It slips when first starting in the morning, otherwise changes ok. I suspect it is low on fluid as it leaks a bit each night. The car has done 170Klms.

The day after a big trip it blew a transmission hose, fluid everywhere, it hasn't felt the same since, but I don't think it slips once warm, and the gear changes seem fine....
