Thoughts please
Would it fit and would it be worth fitting a TD5 to a series 3?
I may be able to get my hands on the engine with all it's bits including the intercooler, gearbox, transfer and ECU.
Just playing with ideas right now.
I can also get a classic rangie chassis to build up a highbrid if it was worth it.
You would spend $8000 on a vehicle worth $1500.I would use a worked 2.25 and fit gas. Pat
Classic Rangie if you are Serious.
At least it will handle and stop like you are acustomed too.
Plus the driveline would be more matched to the power than a Series.
ENJOY,bring it on

Don't know if I will get it yet but it's possable.
I can get my hands on a rangie chassis and the series does need a chassis swap so maybe I should go the whole hog...
Good excuse to clear a relic from the driveway
