No I dont think it would be "worth it" - in that the resultant vehicle would be worth less than the sum of its parts. But it would be one helluva vehicle.

You may need to upgrade other bits too - gearbox, diffs, axles, brakes.

You would spend $8000 on a vehicle worth $1500.I would use a worked 2.25 and fit gas. Pat

Classic Rangie if you are Serious.
At least it will handle and stop like you are acustomed too.
Plus the driveline would be more matched to the power than a Series.

Don't know if I will get it yet but it's possable.
I can get my hands on a rangie chassis and the series does need a chassis swap so maybe I should go the whole hog...
