    Is this radiator due for replacement?

    OK,
    I know its not going to be efficient, the pic shows the worst of it.
    Question is, will this give out with a sudden fluid loss or do they go like this for years??

    How long it lasts is.............?

    Its lasted like that for years, so may last for years more, or until next week

    The white gunge on there means its cactus, its porosity of the core

    Hi David,

    'you 'avin a larf guv?'

    The core is soft, therefore it is highly probable the header plates are weak not to mention the tanks. Yes, it could easily end in disaster.

    Well, put it this way, I ordered a newie today.
    It only had straight water in it too, but it was a genuine question..
