Thread: TD5 head gasket issues @ 120 - 150K Kms

Just had mine fixed at 130,000, after about 9 months wondering if it needed to, just had ongoing water leak, negative "sniffer test". Has had an episode of overheat in its life.

Just did my head after 295000ks. Ended up leaking into 4 out of 5 pots. When i cleaned the block for the new gasket i found that there was a machine mark left by the cutter when rover machined the block..The block had a step machined in it.What a ##**ing joke. Got me stuffed how it lasted 10 minuets not 290000ks
