    a-frame and rear x-member question??

Up until what year did the D1's and classic RR's have the square rear crossmember, or more importantly, the ones that had the a-frame to chassis mounts bolted on with three or so bolts on each side rather than welded like on the models fitted with the round rear x-member.

I know it isn't the right place to ask this, but, I need to get the two bolt-on mounts from the chassis to the a-frame, the two a-frame arms and the part at the diff end that the balljoint goes into prefably without the bracket for the boge self leveller. Not fussed on the condition of the bushes and balljoint as they will be replaced anyway. And i also need two lower control amms - also not fussed on the condition of the bushes but they will need to be straight of course.

The cross member that your chasing is that the one behind the fuel tank, if so we have one. I'm assuming by lower control arms, you're referring the the trailing arms?? that go between the chassis and the rear diff - these vary depending on which year model they are going into.

PM me your details as I'm fairly sure we have what you're chasing regarding the a-frame setup - I'm in Brisbane

No it is the cross member in front of the rear diff, behind the transfer case, below rear passenger seat.

I could help with parts but you should be able to find plenty closer to where you are.

1990 is the beginning of the round crossmember (in classic rangies)

I have the upper bolt on brackets and the arms available.
I also have a ball joint mount that has had the doodle for the load leveler oxyd off (not very neat).

I am on the gold coast, if your interested in any of the above shoot me a pm.

    Cheers
