    Hella H4s Info Needed

    Gday

I originally had Hella H4 lenses in the Defender. Then a mate cracked one.

I went and bought two of those new cheap Auto Lamp lenses. Cracked them the same weekend.

Just recently I bought a couple of second hand Hellas again. In my stupidity I didn't have a close look and one was cracked

So now I have two good Hella H4 lenses, BUT upon having a close look I noticed that the indentifying numbers on the lenses are different. One is marked 10 and the other 12.5

Anyone know if this will cause any issues or what it actually means?

    Thanks

As long as they are both RHD spec lights (dip to the left), then there shouldn't be a noticeable difference.

My 86 Rangie came ex-factory with LHD headlights. The previous owner spent lots of dollars trying to improve the lighting but no one noticed.

I did - the first time I saw the beam pattern on a wall.

Yair. It's not a common problem for me. (Don't ask about the new item my wife bought for me yesterday and it came missing half the bits.)

Had a closer look, I reckon it may be just a newer model

The little arrows both point the same way so I imagine they point the right way
