    Symptons ....
    1: Car starts when cold ... runs great till it gets hot ... then dies
    2: Let it cool off ... and it fires up
    3: The cycle of getting to temp & dying is becoming more common / regular and quicker in it's pace

    Change the AMP ....

    Oh ... and I work in Morley, just around the corner from you .....

    1: Correct.
    2: Correct.
    3: Correct.

    If it gives me grief again that's what I'll do, if I get the chance I might call past Rovacraft and pick one up, but it seems ok at the moment since I replaced the sensor also seems to run smoother.

    Thumbs up

    [QUOTE=Bill E;

    After the problem came back last Saturday after 9 days of thinking it was solved I'm a bit wary of saying it's solved this time but I hope this is the last of it, I will post an update in a 100klm or so for those interested.

    Thanks to all for the interest and suggestions to date.

    OK vehicle has now done 400K, problem hasn't raised it's head again and local ambient temperature has been up for a lot of the time so I can probably assume it was the Temperature sensor telling the ECU the motor was still cold.

    Now that's been put to bed I'll replace plugs, leads etc. etc.

    Thanks again for the interest and suggestions
