i no wat the coolers are for, but the way i see it if landrover sor it fit for the box to need a cooler they would of put one on, and they way i see it is thats its more places that a leak can hapen( and not just cos its a landrover), and with it been pumped thru them pipes it wouldent take long for a major leak to drain all oil,, an a box with no oil wont lasts minits,

do you do alot of sand driving or sumthing

and when Land Rover decided they didnt need one,,
it may have been because everything was brand new,,,

now add ten or so years worth of crud,, a two ton caravan,
40deg C, and an 8 hour trip and I can see why he might want a cooler(or two).




How about pirtek or those types of firms?
