    235/70/16 in Toyo M55

Has anyone here used these specific tyres in this size? I am after some lifespan reports please, I have fitted a set in the past to a 130 and they did some pretty grueling work and still looked good at the end of it, I however want to select a good allround tyre for road and the occasional offroad trip for the LSE, WHICH NOW HAS THE Tdi AND AUTO STTING IN IT!!!

    ...Not long now....

    Thanks,

    JC
The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈

Hi JC, If you are happy with them, then use them. IMO though, the TOYO OPATs in the LT construction are a good tyre. I used them on a 80 series landcruiser towing a 23ft caravan and offroading with good results. 100,000ks plus out of them. Not much good in mud though, as most A/T tyres arent. Not very noisy either. Just do the rotations though. Bob

    Thanks Bob,

These will be smaller than the 235/85/16 tyres on the 130, and way less weight, but yes they seem to last a long time AFAICS.

The vehicle won't see much off road at all, mostly bitumen and light off road work.

Another vote for the Opats. I have used them (235/70/16) on a Rangie and they were a fantastic road/light off road tyre. I know another 5 people using them and all are very happy.
