33/10.5/15'' tyres on 8 inch rims??
Hi all, we are running 33/10.5/15'' BFG muds on the county and were thinking of fitting them to a set of very off-setted 8'' rims we have to gather more off-set/wheel track to stable her up abit, also looks better
They are currently fitted to 15x7'' sunnies on small off-set .
So what are your thought's on fitting narrow tyres to such wide rims, is it alright to do?
Here is a pic of how it sits now..

Thanks in advance....TIM.

I think it might be ok
. But i would not be "airing" down to much.
Can you get off-set 7's, i think this would be a better option

A have a friend who runs them on 15x8s with no worries, same size and type as you have. He's never poped a bead on the beach or in the bush.

go for it youll also get better on road handleing due to the tyre sitting flatter and you'll find that 7 inch rim is the minimum size for those tyres but are atulaly recomended to go on 8 inch
for instance i run a 12.5 inch tyre on a 10 inch rim and never poped a bead at 6psi regularly
