Go to any diesel workshop and ask them about fuel additives,I like the water and unleaded ones,I've seen a perfectly healthy Patrol 4.2 destroyed by the owner putting water down it's guts because his mate said it'll clean the valves,I've also seen a brand new rebuilt cummins split a liner from having unleaded put in the tank because it made the engine pull harder.There is no such thing as a silver bullet,if the injectors are dirty pull and service them and do timing and tappets while your there.
