Smile Wandering steering 01 Disco td5 series 2

Good day and thanks to all for the previous good info on my problems.
Have put a set of Cooper tyres on my disco and the machine wanders , only slightly but it's annoying.
Looked at the Rave manual to see if one can tighten up the steering box as with conventional boxes of this type. There appeared to be no info on this although the schematic of the box showed an adjuster and locking nut.
Really don't know if it's the tyres or some wear in the steering box but have always had some succes in adjusting steering boxes before.
    What do you guys think?

If they are muddies, they do tend to make the car wander a bit. My d2 wanders more when I put the MTZ's on it, but thats because my tie rod ends and steering damper have seen better days. On rough sealedd roads its is almost unbearable. Id say that would be your first place to look. Jack one front wheel up and move the wheel from side to side to check for any movement. If the tie rod ends are worn there will be very noticable movement from side to side.

    Hope that helps
