    rear accessory socket not working

    Hi all,

    Last trip away, i left a light pluged in to the rear accessory socket (Discovery 1)

    later found out it had coroded, So i have fitted a replacement and still no power to it.
    the front cig lighter works, but am not sure if it has its own fuse ect ,

    any ideas ?,

    You really need a meter or a test light to check there is power. Likely suspects is a fuse either in line or in a fuse box, bad earth, wired up incorrectlly or an overheated and melted power wire.
