    Varnish for wood trim

    Guys, what's the best varnish to use if I want to sand back some wood trim and recoat it again?

    For my 87 Hiline, I just went to my local Bunnings & chose a varnish/stain from their range. I did mine about 7 years ago & it's still perfect.

    You could go the clear varnish route but I wanted my timber to look a bit darker than the original.

    I would visit my nearest marine chandler and get some marine spar varnish.
