    Sender Unit ...Transfer case

    Hello,
    I recently had a transfer case from a 95 Disco fitted to my 96TDI.Mine lost oil and threw the towel in. I was underneath servicing when I discovered this sender unit wired to nothing.Can anyone enlighten me on what its for ?

    Most LT230's just have a plug in that position.

    The temp switch is not fitted to my poverty pack, 98, 300Tdi disco, but the warning lamp is in the instrument cluster.

    Perhaps it depends on what engine, option level, or market the vehicle was for.
