Best way to cover holes in floor

I need to cover some holes (seat belt bolts removed) and I was thing of using small pieces of aluminium, but I am unsure of how to keep it in place, any suggestions? Pop rivets will stick up too much. Thanks for any replies.

You could use self adhesive "flashing tape' or screw a short bolt in from underneath if you have access.

Refitt the bolts is all I do.
Or, Might have to hunt for these, years ago the Econovans ect came prefitted for seats and belts and had RUBBER "T" GROMITS(mushroom shaped) fitted to any not used.

    Cheers.

I made up a couple of dead end screw ins for a race car once. I cut a bolt thread just as long as the thread in the body and using a hack saw, cut across the face, so that I could use a flat head screwdriver to screw them in. Used some low strength loktite to hold them in place, so that they could be removed and the item bolted back in, when required.

Black Mastik and any form of plastic to shape.

I use Sikaflex stuff (Bunnings, $17.00/caulking tube) but most brands will do.

It's what they seal windscreens with.
