    Series rims onto discovery

Will the standard wheels off my 1960 SII go onto a D1? Should I use the standard disco steel wheel nuts to retain them?

Yes and Yes. Keep in mind your track will be slightly reduced which may not technically be 100% legal.

    Cheers Ben.

As for why, one off emergency. They're crappy retreads, but I only need to get to the type store 20 km away.

Series 2/2a's had smaller stud holes than series 3 and beyond, so there is a chance they won't fit
