The Land Rover Gods are displeased with me

After 3 weeks of struggling to remove and install a new gearbox all is coming to an end. ( Struggling due to my current disability)
Well I must have upset the LR gods again, it's time to fill the transfer, easy job, but the Land rover gods have decided not to let me off the hook so easy, the bloody fill plug is stuck,!
I know it's a tapered thread. does it unscrew anti clock wise? I have tried a big bar on it and it aint moving.
Gunna have a cuppa then I'm going to heat it and see if it loosens it.

The moral of this story is DON'T Drain any Oils unless you know the Filler plug will unscrew 1st

Also get yourself some cold in a can. I picked some up from Repco a while back.

Yes, it's a conventional RH thread.

Let me know what you did to upset them - I must have done something worse. In the years I owned mine it was a never ending nightmare.

I guess if worse comes to worse you can always try to fill it through the drain plug

A bit off heat and using my foot I managed to get it off, leg muscles are stronger than arm muscles.
