exhaust modifications?
Hi.
I have sourced a set of new Pacemaker extractors for my 1990 3.9L V8.
Can anyone recommend any particular exhaust sizes or mufflers that would suit the application. I would like a bit more of a V8 sound but nothing obscene that would attract unwanted attention.
Single or twin pipes?
Could I expect any performance gains or better fuel economy?
Would I need to get the engine re-tuned after the new exhaust?
Cheers.

Single (better torque)
2 1/2" is ample for a 3.9L and not too obtrusive noise wise.

Thanks. What size is the standard 1990 3.9L exhaust?

As I said to you a couple of days ago 2.25 inches.
