How big a job is it ?
I know I am going to need a LT230 plus different holes in the transmission tunnel, different mounting holes in the chassis, and maybe transbrake mods and flex plate from a later model.
Has anyone done this to their RRC that can give some advice.
Easy job John, especially with the correct donor parts, crank adapter and flex plate etc etc BUT the only annoyance is the floor is too low in a 2 door to mount the shifter, it will need a 'box' to raise it up,( OR a 3" body lift
) to miss the trans body.
The downshift cable attachements on the carb links for the BW35 MAY be just the right orientation, but this will be apparent when all is hooked up.
also be a good time to toss that square crossmember and fit the late RRC and D1 round one, some EFI manifolds and exhaust system....
