    V8 Belt Tensioner Pulley

Have had a look on RAVE, but would like something confirming....
Can someone please tell me what the bolt that goes through the tensioner pulley should be torqued up to?
(the one that goes through the centre of the pulley wheel and fixes to the alternator bracket - vehicle details in sig)

    Cheers in advance,

    Kieren,

I am not near any of my referrences, but seeing as it is into aluminium, 35 to 45 Nm would be adequate (Similar tension and bolt size to rocker shaft onto Rover V8 head)

Jeez Justin, that was quick, thanks mate!
I'd like to get it confirmed though, as we reckon the bolt was overtightened initially and that's whats caused the fail of the bracket...

    Cheers,
