You need to replace the injector harness & give the engine harness (to the ECU) a good clean. I believe metho is good to clean it with but a search would be a better option.
i've got a d2 2004 and its been running a little rough lately and had a look in the red plug that goes to the ecu and we have oil!!!! so now where do i go?? do i need to just replace the oil harness or the loom what the driffence and been in melbourne who do you recomened to buy the part. is it an easy fix or do i pay someone to put it inn???
do have friday off if i need to get it anywhere inner city better but will travel!!

Its pretty easy.
Get some CRC contact cleaner and a new Injector harness loom - $150 or so from main Dealer.
Remove engine cover.
Remove the red plug from the ecu, then remove the orange seal, and the white facia panel in the red plug.
Now remove the main plug at the front of the rocker cover. Spray CRC into here and the red ecu plug (and the ecu socket). You will need to do this a fair bit to remove all oil trace. There is likely to be a lot in the red plug.
Now get some pliers, and a 10mm spanner.
Remove rocker cover breather hose(pliers), and unbolt rocker cover(10mm spanner). Lift away.
Unclip loom from injectors and plug at front. Push plug upwards to remove from casting.
Fit new loom. Refit rocker cover, breather hose and main plug
You are likely to need to clean the plugs a few times to get the worst of the oil out.
Be careful with getting some sorts of CRC / metho etc spray on the oange seal in the ecu plug and also the seal in the plug on the front of the injector loom, as these can expand with certain chemicals.
Easy DIY and takes about 90 mins

BE Very Careful What CRC Contact Cleaner You Use. Sorry for yelling, but be very careful. There are several CRC contact cleaners and at least one is plastic / abs plastic destructive. I know as I was given a can to clean mine and melted part of the clip. Ensure the type you use is non destructive to plastic. CO Contact cleaner should be OK, as should Lectra Clean, from memory I think it was Contact Cleaner 2-23 that does the damage. Make sure you read any labelling and test on plastic of a similar type first.

so i went and got some (CO CRC contact cleaner) is this the right one??and a new harness, rocker seal . so should be right to do the change over tomorrow night all going to plan. the boys at mlr said i should get some sealant to put on top of the plugs should i do this to all 5??

Just read the back of the can and test on a piece of similar plastic. It does not take long to disform if it is going to effect it. I think CRC CO contact cleaner is allright. Not sure sealant on the plugs will help, some have done it with mixed results. If you do decide to do it make sure that you get one that is not just oil but chemical resistant especially if you use synthetic oil. I did not do mine. I did play around with the one I took out after cleaning and have found even with the recommended permaseal about 12 months later it did start to peel a bit and you dont want silicone floating around in your engine oil causing blockages.
Have you used the search as there are heaps of posts and information on this on the site already?
The main harness needs to be flushed thoroughly. I actually let mine flush through overnight and then checked at the ecu for a month to make sure I got rid of all the residue.
I then cleaned up the old one as an emergency spare.
