the injector loom is cheap and relatively easy to fit - it's the main loom that's expensive and a hassle to fit. Therefore I reckon the best approach it to just keep an eye on the plug that connects the two and as soon as you spot oil in the injector loom, replace it...should keep you going for another 5 years with one of the 'improved' injector looms one would hope!
