High level brake light
The high level brake light on my Discovery rear door has come adrift. Can it be satisfactorily re-fixed? The challenge would seem to be to somehow solder (is there a cold solder?) to reconnect the electric spade connectors to the stripping on the window surface. The fixings could, I am guessing, be siliconed back in place.

It has been a while since I did something like this, but if you want to adhere the spade to the glass. Use a Mirror Adhesive (made by Loctite/ Permatex) from Super Cheap or Repco etc. You can also get demister circuit repair kits which will likely be in the same aisle or shelf. Silicone wont have the strength and will come off after a few days or weeks.
You can use double sided body trim tape to refit the light surrounding to the window, also available from the auto shops. Or use the same Mirror Adhesive.
