Thread: 201 TD5 EGR/Silicon hoses

Good day
Looking at getting hoses and an EGR kit from the UK for my 2001 TD5 at 200,000 klms.
All money in pounds:
Hoses 60;
EGR kit 20;
freight airmail (Ithink) 46.

Total 126 pounds!

Does anyone have a better deal they know of?

Also, is it too late to mildy chip the ECU. I do not want to forgo the realibility I have for a bit more grunt.
My Disco is not an off road machine but an active adjunct to my farm and onroad trips.

I've ordered the vacume line see below which I'm told fitts the TD5 right hand drive Defender. Its not available in Australia so I've had to order in through the dealer for $A66. This takes vacume line removes the T piece which otherwise needs to be "plugged". Just a nicer finish.

Yup this is the Land Rover part no. ANR6916 for Right Hand Drive Fenders.

Its the vac line (with no T joint) between brake servo and vac pump.
