    Dashlights not working

So, tonight I finally decided to try the new LED lights I got for the Defender. All was going OK, and I got the speedo light working OK. However, after changing it to another bulb, I got nothing out of any instrument light.

Oh well, I'll put all the original bulbs back in and start again... and nothing!

I've checked all the original bulbs and they're all ok. Being little incandescent type bulbs, I wouldn't think they have any polarity to worry about, even though I did try them both ways.

I've checked the corresponding fuses, and they're fine, and the devices running off the same fuses work OK.

So, I'm now scratching my head, and a little worried this mine mean a costly trip to the auto-elec.

Anybody able to offer any suggestions (apart from leave the bloody things alone if they're all working!).

BTW, all the warning lights seem to be working fine.

LOL - not in a Defender. That's the first thing I looked for when I noticed how dim they were after I bought it
