actually, after some more searches, I think I have answered my own question.. it seems that I will correct body roll and gain stability by putting in sway bars. anyone planning on ditching their ones let me know
cheers.
howdy, me and a mate were comparing the differences between the underside of his rangie and my disco today(kinda thing one does on a sunday) when I realised I dont have front or rear sway bars but he does
, I have the needed mounts for them but they are not there.. does this mean they have been removed? or is this possably the factory setup for my 94' model? most of the time I use the disco as a daily driver, go to work, drive the family around etc.. I was wondering how much stability I would gain by having these? if it is safer I wouldnt hesitate(family and all).. i'd just take them out when I go offroad
(if that is even necessary)
thanks in advance.

There is some difference when you push the Disco hard around corners, but since you're already used to it, you can probably live without them. However, if you do find a set you can make yourself some quick disconnects for off road use.
Dave (Busman) will have some he is wrecking one at the moment and only in gold coast
Just remember that it may have been fitted (in the factory) to the disco because it has a steel roof, which makes its roll more than a rangie.
