Ah that's the "superleggera" model.
Those things are i"dropped off" to save weight - takes about 2/10ths off your average Bathurst lap time in a Defender so possibly even more for a Disco !
Hi Guys,
I have a 1991 model Discovery. My headlights, indicators and horn dropped out. I have checked all fuses.
I pulled the 2 plugs out of the arm(control for lights etc) assembly and can get everything to work by conecting the powers etc, but when it is pluged back in nothing.
Thought the arm may be faulty...Anyone come across this before?
Thanks

The early (89-93) Disco's do not have relays for the lights like later models. This sort of post ( No headlights etc) happens on a fairly regular basis, especially if stronger headlight bulbs are used. (Which is probably why Vlad is having a bit of fun with you....)
It's highly probable that the problem is that part of the switch arrangement in the arm has melted, distorting the stuff around it. Go find a wrecker or PM the various members who are dismantling similar vehicles (Markets section).
To stop it happening again, fit relays to run the headlights like you would a set of driving lights.
Use the search function to find 'headlight upgrade'.
