    D2 seats into 94 RR

I have a Softdash RR, the front electric seats dont work anymore, i need a new switchpack and wiring to the motors for the drivers side and i beleive a flex drive for the passenger seat, the leather has cracked and looks rather ordinary, and the outer part (door side) of the squap is very worn, so rather than spend thousands on retrimming in leather again, and fixing the elecy seats, (the memory side of it never worked either) Would a set of Disco 2 front and rear seats fit, they are newer, a bit firmer, probs more comfy (never been in a D2 for a long drive?) doesnt have to worry about the electrics failing and costing a fortune. I dunno how much i could get seats for, but on ebay there is a full leather trim kit front and rear for D2 seats for $470, And i couldnt see a full set of manual cloth seats being more than $500
Whereas fixin my seats and trimming them would be about $2000 probs more byt the time i get everything sorted, and thats leaving the rears as is.
Also does anyone know if dorrtrims would fit also, i understand i would need to get the handles and lock tabs and everything aslo, not to concerned about that but an idea.

Do you really want leather? The velour Rangie seats bolt straight in, less work and cheaper (can get for roughly $300). I have a fat arse so I prefer the Rangie seats over the Disco although the seats in the Disco I have are pretty good. Late D1 seats are almost identical to the D2 ones so they should fit with some extra drilling and mounting etc.. as they have the same track as the RRC ones.

On price, I'd shop around I'm sure you can do better than that. Good luck with it.

There are guys around who will de crack and repaint leather seats for about $300 per seat.
As long as they are not too far gone they do a great job.

    Talk to any motor trimmer.

If the mounts of the D2 seats are different in any way, you should get an engineers report so this would add to cost, in the slim possibility that you would do it.

    Try TRS in SA.
I had both and must say the RRC seats are way more comfy.
I would get price for new leather.
