The wiring side of things will also depend on the solenoids that you currently have. The warn solenoid pack is a 5 wire job. If you run something like the titan solenoid (which is far superior) it is a simple 3 wire control.

Thanks for the advice. I might consider that. The main reason I didnt want it was in case the batteries were flat in the remote, but then again I will be retaining the point for plugging in the remote with the cable.

That's what I thought Angus - at least I have the remote as a back up. Havent needed it yet.

The remote control that I use is from tigerz11

I haven't had any problems with run on. The high mount always keeps going a little longer after you take you finger off the button without load regardless of the switching mechanism used (ie hand controller or remote). You will have already got used to this. Under load there is no run on.

Thanks mate. I already had one of the Tigerz11 solenoids so I went back today and got a package with the control box, remote, solenoid and the remote with the cable. I dont like the cable remote so Im going to replace the 3 pin socket with the one from my warn control box. The warn controller is a lot more sturdy...

Will post some pics when I get it all fitted.
