Thread: Interior trim D1

Is there any requirement for interior trim for roadworthiness? I've just stripped my interior trim out and rather like the practicality of just the dash, seats and door trims.

Has anyone done this and put a painted liner down?


(no, I'm not joking, this is like a thinking man's Defender!)

I think you will need non slip paint or similiar on the floor under you feet, but carpets per say are not required.

You will loose some noise and heat insulation without your carpets so I hope your air con works well.
