Thread: Cancel Limp Home Mode

Sorry Guys, You have probably come across this one many times before. I was away for a few weeks and when returned to start my 2003 Series 2 Disco the battery had lost it's kick. After starting with my porta pak the S & M modes started flashing on the dash locking me into "Limp home" mode, 3rd gear only. Is there any way to cancel this without having to take it into a dealeror repair centre with the computer to cancel it. I am thinking of being 300 to 400 k's from nowhere and even then finding a Land Rover service centre. Would appreciate any ideas.Regards Tommo

Fully charge or replace battery....

I'd suggest replace if it 'just happened' as its likely to fail again soon..

You may find the lights self reset after you do this.
