    Custom gear

Some how amongst all the preparing and build of my landy for our round aus trip I have found the time to build a custom spin stick for bream, bass and other small species. I have already finished the but and fore grips but might start posting pics of the guide wraps ( if there is any intrest?) etc I have a home made rod wrapper and a rotisserie epoxy dryer. Was going to craft a casting rod also but bought an 6-8kg Gloomis instead.

I'm taking a flat bottom punt around aus with me so should be able to cruse some remote rivers and snaffle some serious fish.

this is where I fish regularly near my house.

That looks like a pretty serious part of the Hawkesbury. Where are the pics from?
