Any Fishing Tackle collectors out there

I recently went through some boxes of fishing tackle I shipped out here from the UK back in '97.

Lots of Mitchell reels a few ABU's plus some other oldies I'd collected.
A quick look online and it seems that the early Mitchells have become collectable and the odd ABU closed face is highly prized.

Where's the best place to sell early fishing tackle in Australia ??

Your best bet would be on Facebook groups, its been a while since I was buying and selling fishing gear but the groups were always the best place for it.

    Thanks,
I'm not on Facebook but one of my boys is.

I'd forgotten some of the reels I found in the shed, collected at Boot Sales in the UK years back when I had time to go fishing BM (Before Marriage).

Just been reading up on the history of Mitchell reels Home Page - Mitchell Reel Museum
Over 13 million 300's made ! I lusted after one as a kid but couldn't afford one, eventually got one secondhand and re-painted it. Then as I got older the collecting started, some new, most from Boot Sales.

I have a very early Mitchell with half bailarm which dates back to the late 40's, several Match's, 300's, 400's & 410's. Time to work out what to keep, what to pass on and what to sell !
