That is an awesome idea brett . Hope we get a heap of rain from now on to fill the dam abit more so the trout come up into the grassy areas .

    Sure Did....
These rainbows are great fun to catch .... and don't like being pulled back to the dinghy. Lake Meadowbank has been stocked with rainbow trout & salmon up to 14Lbs. so its gives the angler the opportunity to catch a trophy size fish...
    cheers smally

And did you mean a 7kg plus bream...like to see that

    Sorry Tim,

    I mean't 7 kilo worth of Bream.

Some bit over the Kilo mark.

Great fish for this time of year.

I like the soft plastics as I have never gut hooked whilst using the sp's. All are lip hooked which improves the survival rate dramatically.

    Woops!!
I'd still like to see a 7kg bream though
I rarely do any bait fishing anymore now i'm into sp fishing, and i havn't ever gut hooked a fish yet while fishing with sp's either.
In the rivers i let all the bream i catch go and the ones i catch off the rocks most the time keep for a feed, but i have never kept over 4 fish at a time

    CHEERS TIM.
