Andy, What type of boating do you intend to do, that might help with any advise that comes.
I've had these, but my next one will be a centre consol, they've all had their good and bad points depending on what I'm doing,, The Quintrex is my current vessel, but I dont get to use it much, (needs a new electric start motor, I've got a crook shoulder, so if she decides not to play the game im in trouble )

    Hi Chops
If I had the money a Trailblazer 660 by Trailcraft.(or similar)
I am considering a dingy as a first boat, depending on how big I can can legaly carry on my home made camper trailer.
In reality,I dont really want a dingy as it fairly limits where you can go.I SHOULD look at something in the 4.5/5m range as a starter boat for ease of learning, buying and to see if it gets the use.
Im min 2hrs travel from the ocean
Once the camper trailer is completed(top has been ordered) I will start saving some spare coins towards a boat

    Hi Andrew,
I started mtself with a dingy type boat,10foot V-Hull which I had on my traidmans trailer, but I found it to be too unstable, (for me anyway), but it allowed me to go anywhere camping wise. My current is the best because it has whats known as a "V-Nose Punt" which means it has basically a flat bottom, so its really stable, but can handle rougher/chopier water than a normal punt. Can be driven at better speeds too Its 3.8mts and if you really wanted you could probably put a "bare bones unit" on a camper trailor, but you'd have to be pretty keen I'd reckon,,
When I've got my bus finished, mine will go on top of a double decker car trailer (still on its own trailer) to tow behind the bus,,gotta have the boat with me.
I'll be looking forward to getting over your way, you have what looks like some of the best estury fishing going, at a place called Walpole, South WA, it looks awesome in the DVD I've got.

    Cheers again, Chops

Great lookin boat, looks like just the thing for bream fising in the Blackwood and walpole here in the south west. Just had a look on there website and assume the bloke in the photos is your mate. Think I might order a set of plans and have a go at building one. Any mods or suggestions that u can suggest before i go about slapping one togeather?
