    Some Brewers use finings that include gelatin which is derived from an animal, but there are plenty of beers already out there that don't so there's already plenty for vegetarians and vegans to choose from.

    I never use finnings, I alway do a secondary clearing to another fermenter and leave it to clear for at least 3 days before it goes into the keg or bottle.
