    Yes,seen thousands of them.
They seem to congregate at the base of acacia trees late in the day, making a big pile of itchy grubs.

During the day and particularly in the morning they are on their way in a line going somewhere,i don't know where.

Today I noticed quite a few loners, and a few small processions, some with only two or three caterpillars in them.

We get grubs like that here on white cedar trees. (Melia azedarach - Growing Native Plants). There were many here when we moved in, and the grubs got everywhere. They got into the house, in the washing, the vehicles, and caused many welts on skin. I cut down all the white cedars as they are considered weeds. Now no more cedar moths and no more grubs.
