    re-positioned air filter

Well I have moved the air filter from behind the engine to the left hand side where the old air-con system was. The reason for this is I am going to fit a top mount intercooler in that position. I has worked out better as the is less plumbing for the snorkel now, I still want to improve on the filter to turbo hose, as the alignment is not staight the hose has a slight kink in it. I reakon it would be a good spot for another battery to, if not for my situation of running a intercooler there.

Why not a slightly smaller Donaldson filter setup mounted on the wing, like those older Cruisers? you could've kept a heater down there, and had easy access to the filter. A battery would get a touch warm there, I reckon. So will your intercooler if you're travelling slow, or stopped for long periods, even with a fan.
