    V8 Ignition switch for Isuzu?

The Isuzu I just bought has the ignition barrel in pieces & I suspect its knackered.
I have a V8 one with plenty of keys, would that work? Anybody done this?
I would think a seperate button for glow plugs might be needed.
Everything works OK, I can start it by using a screwdiver in the module that fits on to the barrel.

    Thanks,
    David

My "new" 110 County has this set up. It was a V8 conversion. I've had a few others and never used the glow plugs, but you could wire them to a separate push button operated circuit if you are keen.

Mine starts fine in -10C if the batteries are good. You might need glowplugs below that.

mate my county was a v8, now converted to a isuzu and I used the same ignition barrel, like the others said if needed use a push button glow plug switch.
