    For reference Single spin-on Filter numbers

    Oil filter:
    Donaldson P550422
    Rover Australia AYG585

    Fuel filter:
    Donaldson P550057


    Hmm, I wanted to edit the first post to add these numbers. Seems I can't.

    Can you please confirm that the spin on type can be used if i have the cartrige type fitted.

    I have no idea. My car was fitted with the single spin-on when I got it so I'm not sure what the difference is. I changed the oil just last night. If you had posted one night earlier, I may have been able to get some pics for you.

    If you mean can you remove the cartridge and screw a spin on straight on, then no.

    To change to a spin on you need to change the whole housing/assembly.
