Check out the Penrite web site they do manual gear box oils, I personally put their heaviest engine oil in (HPR50) and it's faaaar better than hypoid gear oil for the synchro's.

I had a high pitch high speed whine in my LT95.
    It disapeared with this stuff.

LT 95's will suffer badly with hypoid oils.

Engine oil is best for LT95 and is what the handbook recommends - 20/50 seems about the best compromise for the internal pump and general lubrication.

I use 15w40 Valvoline Super Diesel engine oil, I change it at engine oil intervals because I can.

Good quality changes cold and hot. I have run 10w40 in really cold winters down here, but only in a V8 version, not an isuzu one...

I'd love to see how a good 75W-90 manual trans oil like Redline MT90, Motul Gear 300, Torco RTF et al would go in one.

A 75W-90 manual trans oil is the same viscosity as a 15W-40 engine oil.
