    wot about a 4JJ1?

    Hi everyone,

    Just a quick question. Has anyone thought about using the newish 4jj1 motor and maybe gear box out of a d-max/rodeo in a landy. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on the idea as am considering re-powering the old man's RRC into something Isuzu.

    Lots of people have thought about it, but I don't know of anyone who's actually done it. These are commonrail with computer control.

    I drove a new d-max the other day and was quite impressed by the performance get up and go. I wonder how well that engine would push along a RRC?
