    BTW, it looks like my post hasn't shown up yet, apparently it has to be 'moderated' first.
    I'd forgotten I've never posted there, I joined trying to find info on TD42T's overheating and I reckon there's more tech info here

    I have been a member on the Patrol forum for some time as well. The people there are no different to here. Some who have no idea and some who have very useful information.

    obviously you've never seen the wiring diagram....

    that freaking switch is like cancer its got its nasty little tendrils everywhere... It takes an hour to pull it out and mark all the wires coming to/from it so you can do a "like this do that" replacement without working out which wires go where and do what.

    You're right, it's no different to any other forum I'm on or 'real' life for that matter.

    Id just suggest that you drop a hint that they ask a GSEFITT or RAEME bloke.
