Nippon Denso 12v 40 amp Alternator

I hope someone out there can help, the plastic plug was knocked off the Nippon Denso 12v 40 amp alternator with external regulator, I have no idea where to connect the wires back in place, the wires coming out of the alternator are white with blue stripe, white with green stripe and black.

If anyone has any idea which one goes to where it would be a great help, I know the S, L and IG connections to the vehicle well enough.

My 4BD1T is a truck motor and has a hitachi 70amp off a Nissan TD42 fitted. It doesnt have the factory loom over the motor but only has 2 wires in the plug and the battery wire. The inner wire is jumped off the battery wire. I dont know if this is any help.

Our alternator has a a plug with three flat connectors inside, three short wires come out of the alternator to the plug, white with blue stripe, white with green stripe and a black, these are the wires that came disconnected, the original wiring loom would have had the mating plug on it, we don't, so no matching wire colours for me to line up with, I'm worried that if I guess the I might fry something which gets expensive.

    Thanks anyway Dave

Well I just went down to the garage & took some pics but they only are going to show the connector with matching wires you describe as above.
But it might answer your question. The white/blue is in the middle( I didn't turn it around for the pic so I thought it was white only)

Thanks DeeJay, I'll hook up the wires this arvo if I can get home early enough and give the motor some turns, we have just got the motor back together after blowing a head gasket and having a chunk of piston rip out a piece of cylinder liner, what a job to do without a garage or carport.

    Welcome!
Nothing wrong with just having a browse around for a start. There is an introductions section if you want to announce yourself there.
One of the things that is frowned upon in chat forums is jumping on a thread and posting something unrelated for your own purpose (like you've done here ).
I'm sure you'll be forgiven this time since its all new to you. Once you've read through a few threads you'll get the idea of how it all works.
