    My 1985 Isuzu County

    hi all

I have recently purchased myself another car - 1985 Isuzu County. It has the 4bd1 Isuzu motor in it and does have a turbo which is not fitted to it yet. Only a couple of things needed for roadworthy - brakes and windscreen. Dad says i also need to replace the clutch and its a good thing we already have a spare here. It blows alot of white smoke on start up and does so for a few minutes until its warmed up and then it turns to black smoke. The only rust that we could find was in the floor pans as shown in pics. Ill let the pics speak for themselves.

Go the '85 Counties! I think that's the only colour I haven't had. Maybe we should start a Brisbane 85 County Club.

Hmmmm. I dunno, those '87 Counties have mod cons like 5 speed gearboxes. Maybe we could let your dad in if he pulled out all the post 85 stuff and did a retro-fit. It shouldn't be too hard for him to find the bits

Nice County mate. Looks the goods and should last you forever. At least you have the confidence in knowing you're driving a REAL fourby!
