    Front Hub Breather

Do early Counties have a breather/vent off the front hubs with a breather tube running up to engine bay?
Or is this a feature that some one has added on, as Defers do not have this?
    Cheers Pat

My 85 county has the normal diff breathers, but nothing off the hubs.
Sounds like someone has added it on to me.

Home made addition. I have seen it before. Not a bad idea.

I've always thought it would be a better idea to have a slight positive pressure in each housing/hub assembly, for water crossings etc. Less likely to allow anything past the seals, and you'd soon know when you have an oil leak. Not sure, but I believe Unimogs have this option.
